    Here's a scarce antique porcelain child's cup & saucer from the 1890s with advertising from the Crystal Palace Department Store that was located in Los Angeles in the 1880s and 1890.  The front of cup is printed
    A PRESENT FROM THE CRYSTAL PALACE
    in bold orange underglaze lettering....men shown in various activities around the cup and also on the matching saucer.....the cup is 1 7/8"tall....saucer is 4"across...both are in perfect shiny mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. The Crystal Palace Department Store was located at 138 South Main Street in downtown Los Angeles. It was owned and operated the Meyberg Brothers from 1887-1897 when it went out of business. This rare advertising give away child's cup & saucer with humorous scenes is hard to find!
