For sale is an Allen 600-DK 2-Manual Drawknob Organ Console, removed from a church. This listing is only for the console, bench, and pedalboard. No speakers, amplifiers, manuals, or Allen tone cards are included.
This organ was working when it was removed
. It was disconnected when we removed it and we did not test it. However, this organ has had several repairs and modifications done to it over the years, notably what appears to be a pack of batteries in the console and two switches added to the right stop jamb. This organ was hooked up to a set of chimes and the control knob is extant, but the chimes are not included. We are not sure if the card reader works. The organ has not been plugged in since removal. The console is in good cosmetic shape with a few minor scratches here and there. These Allen consoles are very well built but are also very heavy! While the organ was played every Sunday until its removal,
it may have some things that are not working that we are not aware of. Since it is untested and due to its age, we are listing it for parts.
This large console would be an ideal candidate for a Hauptwerk conversion. While the console does not have MIDI, the large console is very sturdily constructed and offers ample room for a computer and touch screens.
Due to the organ’s age, it is being sold AS-IS with no warranty or technical support. We do not guarantee this organ to be 100% working as we do not have speakers to test it. No returns accepted. Offers considered!
The organ is in storage at Baldwin Piano & Organ Center in Herrin, Illinois - 4.5 hours south of Chicago, 2.5 hours from St. Louis, 3.5 hours from Louisville, Nashville, and Memphis.

The organ can be picked up in our showroom as well, and we will assist in loading. The buyer is responsible for having blankets, straps, dollies, and the proper vehicle. You will need a box van, enclosed trailer, or large cargo van. We will not load it into a pickup truck - yes, people have asked!
