brand new diaper insert (

), handmade by me, a work-at-home-mom.  They are rectangular in shape with rounded corners. These can be used as inserts in pocket diapers or as liners/extra protection for over-night or your 'super wetter' :) with your existing cloth diaper system.

3 layers of super soft & super absorbent 55% hemp/45% organic cotton fleece
professionally serged edges for clean finished look
Added bonus of the hemp/cotton fleece that it is nice and thin, but very absorbent. Hemp also has antimicrobial properties, so it works well for baby's sensitive skin.
The fabric has been prewashed, so there should be minimal shrinkage. I do make these 1/2 inch longer, at 15.5 inches by 5 inches, to accomodate for that. These can be machine washed/dried along with your baby's diapers/clothes. For better absorption, dryer sheet should not be used. For stains, I recommend soaking in water/baking soda/vinegar solution for up to 24hrs (I do this for the liners as well as the cloth diapers) and launder as usual. For stubborn stains, hang to dry in the sun instead of the dryer.
This fabric will reach its maximum absorbency after approximately 5 washes, but the inserts are ready for immediate use - no need to wash them several times before usage.
