Are you having problems with oil in your intake piping after your supercharger? Running a higher boost s/c such as a x charger or bigger? Then this seal is what you need.
These are the true double lip viton seals sold on the Greenhulk site and proven by people all over the world.
We are the original seller who found these and started selling them
    .
Many people are having problems with oil leaking past the oil seal in the supercharger. This is usually noticed right at the coupler on the intake side of the supercharger. This eventually goes through the rest of the intake plumbing, which loads every thing up with oil and reduces the efficiency of the intercooler. The understanding is that the heat warps and deforms the stock seal.
These Viton seals are good for up to 400 degrees. The OEM are rated around (200-250 degrees).
These also have a double lip design while the OEM seal is a weak single lip design. These install exactly the same as your OEM seal as stated in your service manual
    .
If your not rebuilding your supercharger, you can still put this in. The service manual shows it being changed during a rebuild which is the easiest because the supercharger shaft is out of the way. If you take your front cover off and supercharger wheel you will see the oem bearing. The easiest way is to pierce the seal with a small screwdriver by tapping it with a hammer into the face of the seal and then prying it out. Put a small film of grease on the seal and press it back in with a socket the correct size that fits over the shaft and fits the size of the seal. Also follow your service manual for all the details needed to put this in. Anybody that knows how to service their charger can easily put this in. No special tools required.
